Overview
Expertons are a combination of different classical hardware and software components with an integrated knowledge system.
This enables Expertons to determine the best production parameters for a given task. As a result expertonic assembly units can flexibly perform varying types of complex tasks, whereas today this is limited to a few pre-defined tasks.
By linking Expertons in cross-sectoral learning networks, the Expertonic Networked Factory is established. This network of Expertons enables continuous process improvement.
