The Knowledge Transfer Upper Rhine2 (KTUR2) is a consortium* made up of 15 partners and coordinated by the University of Strasbourg. Its aim is to accelerate technology transfer in the cross border region of the Upper Rhine by facilitating the emergence of start ups and providing support to companies, both in terms of employee training and access to innovation. Within the framework of the 360 Grand Est event, KTUR2 is pleased to invite you to its inaugural conference, which will be held on Tuesday, May 20 at 11:30 a.m. at the Palais de la Musique et des Congrès in Strasbourg, salle Madrid.

The conference, which will be opened by Michel de Mathelin, the First Vice-President and Vice-President for Strategy and Innovation of the University of Strasbourg, will showcase successful partnerships in technology transfer and innovation in the Upper Rhine region.

This will be followed by a presentation on the four key focus areas of the KTUR² project: access to innovation and technology for research units, continuing education, entrepreneurship and funding.

It will conclude with a speech by Michiel SCHEFFER, President of the European Innovation Council.

The conference will be held in English and will be followed by a cocktail reception where you will have a chance to talk to the speakers. Any journalists wishing to attend should register here: REGISTRATION LINK.

*The consortium consists of 12 universities comprising the Eucor universities (the Karlsruher Institut für Technologie, Freiburg im Breisgau, Haute-Alsace, Basel and Strasbourg), the University of Kaiserslautern-Landau and the TriRhénaTech universities of applied sciences (Kaiserslautern, Karlsruhe, Offenburg, Furtwangen, Lörrach, North-Western Switzerland), as well as technology transfer players such as Conectus, Grand Est Développement (a regional innovation agency) and the CCI Alsace Eurométropole.
