Ablauf des Programms/Program schedule

Step 1: 
Sie tragen sich über das untenstehende Anmeldeformular für Mentor:innen ein und werden in den Mentor:innenpool des WeCare Connect Programms aufgenommen. Im Anschluss erhalten Sie die Mentoring Guidelines mit weiteren Informationen zum Ablauf./ 
You register as a mentor using the sign-up form below and will be added to the mentor pool of the WeCare Connect Program. Afterwards, you will receive the Mentoring Guidelines with further information about the process.
Step 2: 
Internationale Studierende der HKA nehmen zunächst an einem Einführungsworkshop zum Thema Mentoring teil. Anschließend kommen sie in die Beratung des Career Service und wählen gemeinsam mit der Beraterin einen Mentor oder eine Mentorin aus dem Pool aus. Der Career Service sendet der ausgewählten Mentorin bzw. dem Mentor eine Anfrage mit einem kurzen Profil des Studierenden. Wird die Anfrage angenommen, nimmt der bzw. die Mentee direkt Kontakt auf, um ein erstes Treffen zu vereinbaren./ 
International students at HKA first take part in an introductory workshop on mentoring. Afterwards, they attend a consultation with the Career Service and, together with a career advisor, select a mentor from the pool. The Career Service then sends the selected mentor a request including a short profile of the student. If the request is accepted, the mentee will contact the mentor directly to arrange an initial meeting.
Step 3: 
Das Mentoring kann online oder in Präsenz stattfinden. Idealerweise findet etwa ein Treffen pro Monat statt. Der Mentoringzeitraum beträgt in der Regel 6 Monate. In beiderseitigem Einvernehmen kann dieser verlängert oder verkürzt werden./
The mentoring can take place either online or in person. Ideally, meetings take place about once a month. The mentoring period usually lasts six months. By mutual agreement, this period can be extended or shortened.
Step 4:
Nach Beendigung des Mentorings lädt der Career Service zu einem kurzen Reflexions- und Feedbackgespräch ein./
After the mentoring has ended, the Career Service will invite both participants to a short reflection and feedback meeting.

In schwierigen Situationen oder bei Problemen innerhalb der Mentoringbeziehung kann jederzeit der Career Service der HKA um Unterstützung gebeten werden./ 
In difficult situations or in case of any problems within the mentoring relationship, the HKA Career Service can be contacted for support at any time.

Die im Anmeldeformular erfassten Daten werden zu Zwecken der Programmdurchführung in die Mentoringdatei der Alumni Services aufgenommen. Die Kontaktdaten werden zur wechselseitigen Kontaktaufnahme zwischen Mentoren und Mentees durch die Alumni Services weitergegeben, sofern eine verbindliche Anmeldung beiderseits vorliegt. Die Angaben werden ausschließlich für die Abwicklung des genannten Zwecks verwendet und nicht an unbefugte Dritte weitergegeben.

The data collected in the registration form will be recorded in the Alumni Services mentoring database for the purpose of program implementation. Contact details will be shared by Alumni Services to enable mutual communication between mentors and mentees, provided that both parties have confirmed their participation. The information will be used solely for the purpose stated above and will not be disclosed to unauthorized third parties.
