Samuel Zeitvogel studied Computer Science at the Faculty of Computer Science and Business Informatics and wrote his doctoral thesis at the Intelligent Systems Research Group (ISRG) at HKA. During his time at the ISRG, Samuel Zeitvogel worked on several applied research projects. In his dissertation, he dealt with the 3D modeling of persons and researched a method to train 3D morphable models based on comparatively few person scans. He published his work at the European Conference on Computer Vision (ECCV) - an international A* conference.
Samuel Zeitvogel submitted his doctoral thesis to Chemnitz University of Technology and successfully defended it on January 23, 2025. Our special thanks go to Prof. Gangolf Hirtz, who supervised the thesis on behalf of Chemnitz University of Technology!
