The course offers you the opportunity to take two courses in English during your summer vacation and learn more about social innovation and technology.
Lectures are complemented by classroom instruction, field trips, and meetings with leaders. Students also have the opportunity to see Israel through the eyes of social innovators. Visits to the north and south of the country, as well as tours of innovation centers and meetings with experts and leaders, are part of the program.
The course covers three topics, "Introduction to Social Innovation," "Technology for Good," and "Leadership Strategies for Social Impact." Students will learn to understand social challenges and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, study models and theories of social innovation and finance, and acquire practical tools for leadership strategies.
The course is designed for students who have completed at least one year of undergraduate study, have a grade point average of at least 3.0 or equivalent, and have B2-level English proficiency. The course is accredited with 4 US credits or 6 ECTS credits.
