Institute of Energy Efficient Mobility

Profile

Vision and Goal

The transformation of mobility as well as the advancing digitalisation requires intelligent approaches and innovative solutions. New technologies such as autonomous driving or safe and secure development, operation and connectivity of vehicles, mobile systems as well as their cyber-physical infrastructure are changing the behaviour of consumers and making both mobility and its broader infrastructure a focus topic.

To look at this change technologically, IEEM positions itself through different research foci in the field of sustainable and safe mobility. The aim is to develop application-oriented technical solutions in cooperation with industrial partners, research institutions and public institutions.

Who are we?

With its staff and the Professors Dirk Feßler, Maurice Kettner, Reiner Kriesten, Philipp Nenninger and Peter Offermann provide a broad and cross-domain expertise. This makes us an ideal partner for research and development activities in the areas of mobility and other cyber-physical, networked systems. Here, we benefit in particular from our many years of cooperation and experience with and from industry.
