Friends of HKA

Influential people from Karlsruhe founded our association in 1953 to overcome the lack of laboratories and study­places. Today, we form a network to share know-how and build bridges between industry, university and students. With our 2300 members, we promote young talents, for example, and run a guest lecturer house.

Attractive housing

A particular concern was the construction of a purpose-built hall of residence close to the university. Creative student togetherness combined with the latest technology of general renovation continues to offer an attractive student ambience in the :Domus7 in 169 rooms.

Friends' Circles

The FREUNDE are divided into eleven subject-oriented Friends' Circles, which work closely with industry, professors and students and develop a wide range of activities.
