StudiumPLUS Experience

Structure and application

StudiumPLUS Experience

StudiumPLUS Praxis (StudiumPLUS Experience) combines the Bachelor's degree with additional, in-depth practical components in a company. You also receive a monthly remuneration throughout your studies. In contrast to StudiumPlus Apprenticeship, participants in this study program do not receive vocational training.

Structure

You can start your StudiumPLUS Experience program either in the summer or winter semester at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences in cooperation with a company. In addition to the practical study components such as the internship semester, which is completed in the fifth semester, and the Bachelor's thesis, which is written in the seventh semester, the students also work at the corporate partner during the semester break. In this way, they get to know the work processes and contents in the best possible way and can independently pursue projects and directly apply the theoretical knowledge gained in their studies. StudiumPLUS Experience concludes after a standard period of study of 3.5 years with a Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Science degree.

Application

If you are interested, you first need to apply to a company and conclude a contract there.

The next step is to apply at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences by the deadline of January 15 (for the summer semester) or July 15 (for the winter semester) for the respective degree program. The admission procedure at HKA runs its course, requiring the usual application documents.
