Project learning

Anyone who has an idea for their own project as part of their studies, be it sustainable, innovative, or simply fun, can put it into practice at HKA. Project work is part of the degree program and is assessed with credit points. Project work not only allows you to deepen the knowledge you have acquired. Social competence such as the ability to work in a team and creativity are also promoted.

Mentoring program

Are you new to the university and have questions about studying, learning, exams, where to study, or about the university in general? Then the mentoring program will help you to settle in well at the university and in your study program!

Extracurricular Studies

The Extracurricular Studies (Studium Generale) seminar program offers you the opportunity to acquire or intensify professional and personal competencies as well as key qualifications.

Campus life

Be it fitness training, swimming, or team sports – the range of sports facilities available to all Karlsruhe students leaves nothing to be desired. In order to bring students together outside their classes, the AStA (Student Union), the Fachschaften (student representatives at Faculty level) or even the Senior Management organize parties and events on campus. Anyone who wants to get involved in university life is always welcome.
