Economics is an exciting and diverse subject area that we teach in six progressive degree programmes. Theoretically sound, practice-oriented and cosmopolitan, our students deal with professional knowledge and current facets. In this way, they create a broad basis for the best career prospects and academic development opportunities - throughout their lives.
At the heart of economics are the Bachelor's degree programmes. Industrial Engineering and Management has been available here for over 50 years and regularly lands in the top group of renowned rankings. Business Management (formerly International Management) has been offered for over 20 years and also achieves top results in rankings. Both programmes award the degree Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.). The knowledge is deepened in four Master's programmes. International Management and Industrial Engineering are two- or three-semester Master's programmes with specialisation options in the three-semester variant. Technology Entrepreneurship comprises three and the Tricontinental Master in Global Studies four semesters of study. All conclude with the Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree.
Our international orientation and excellent networking with regional companies give our graduates the best foundation for their professional and academic development.
