Orientation semester at HKA

Orientation semester OSKAR

In the orientation semester OSKAR you can attend the regular courses of up to ten different degree programmes for one semester to get a realistic impression of a degree programme. On the way to choosing a suitable field of study, you will examine your interests, values and goals and gain experience with practice-relevant topics within the framework of a project. If you pass the OSKAR programme, you will have a place of your choice in one of the participating degree programmes secured.

Orientation Semester TWIN!

The TWIN! orientation semester helps you decide whether studying or training is right for you. Our cooperation with the Karlsruhe Chamber of Industry and Commerce allows you to choose a specialist focus in the professional fields of electrical engineering and information technology, mechanical engineering and mechatronics in both the training and study areas. You will attend courses in the degree programmes as well as vocational school classes and experience a practical phase of several weeks in a company or in the training workshop. In the course of the semester, you will learn to assess the different requirements as well as your own strengths and abilities in order to make the right decision for you.
