Business Management
Structure of the study program
The standard period of study for the bachelor's degree program in Business Management is seven semesters, during which stays abroad can also be easily integrated. The study program is divided into two semesters of basic studies and 5 semesters of advanced studies. Each semester comprises 30 credit points (ECTS).
The third and fourth semesters include the modules of your chosen specialization, allowing you to further specialize according to your interests. The practical internship is scheduled for the fifth semester - for the International Management specialization, it is compulsory to spend the internship abroad. Our internship boards assist students in organizing the internship semester.
In addition to the compulsory lectures, you can refine your personal profile within the main study program, particularly through individually selectable specializations. Additionally, two compulsory elective modules are planned for the sixth semester, allowing you to specialize according to your interests. The final Bachelor's thesis can be completed either at the university or in cooperation with a company, including opportunities abroad. It is also possible to study in Argentina or Scotland and obtain a double degree.

At the university's own Institute for Foreign Languages all students can acquire and improve their own language skills in lessons with native speakers.
As part of the bachelor's degree program, you are required to obtain the HKA’s "Certificate of Proficiency in English for Professional Purposes". This additional foreign language can be taken as one of the core electives.
