By integrating economic, ecological and social sustainability aspects into entrepreneurial action, our students are prepared to develop, implement, and communicate solution strategies in the interaction between public, private and non-profit actors.

You will be able to identify environmental, governance, and (international) compliance issues in a value-oriented manner and develop and communicate proposed solutions. You will be equipped to carry out technology assessments from a sustainability perspective and act as a convincing contact person for environmental, governance and compliance issues in companies.

This specialization prepares you for tasks in the compliance and sustainability departments of companies, in NGOs, or for a career as a sustainability manager or sustainability consultant.

Who is the specialization suitable for?

Do you believe that economy and ecology should be in harmony, not in conflict? If you want to reconcile your career opportunities with your ethical values and also want to do something meaningful professionally, then this is the right place for you.

With the professional and social skills you acquire and the specialization in Sustainability Management, you will be ideally prepared for roles in the sustainability departments of companies or NGOs, as well as in marketing, purchasing, project management, and management consulting with a focus on sustainability.

Internship & studying abroad

The specialization in sustainability management is application-oriented through the use of project work and practical case studies, familiarizing students with concrete practical issues from the start.

The compulsory internship semester, which can be completed either at home or abroad, offers students an excellent opportunity to apply and implement the knowledge and specialist skills acquired in the specialization and to gain professional experience.
