You would like to study internationally and preferably in English? You would like to work in an international company, in a non-governmental or a non-profit organization? As a manager or as a project leader, you are expected to have comprehensive knowledge of global economic contexts, intercultural competence and experience abroad. The Tricontinental Master in Global Studies (TRIM) provides you with all this within four semesters and optimally prepares you for your career in an international environment.

This program has for its distinctive feature the batch of international students who change locations as a group for every semester. The first semester is spent in Karlsruhe, the second in Taichung/Taiwan and the third in Monterrey/Mexico. In the fourth semester, the master's thesis is written, preferably in cooperation with an internationally active company or organization. For this, students are free to choose their location.

You will not only gain experience abroad but also gain a high level of intercultural competence, as you will continuously study together with your fellow students from Taiwan and Mexico (and possibly other nationalities). Common language, also for instruction, will be English.

This interdisciplinary and practice-oriented program is aimed at graduates who gained their first university degree in business studies and who are interested in international and intercultural issues. Business administration and economics as well as aspects of legal science, cultural science and political science are combined with extensive methodological knowledge.

The Tricontinental Master in Global Studies program is regularly ranked successfully in the CHE ranking .
