Structure of the study program
The Tricontinental Master in Global Studies program comprises four semesters and starts each year in the winter semester.
All students spend the first semester at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences, completing six modules, including one compulsory elective module. In the second semester, in Taiwan, students must complete three compulsory modules and three compulsory elective modules. In the third semester, at the Universidad de Monterrey in Mexico, students take five compulsory modules and one compulsory elective module. In the fourth semester, students write their Master's thesis, preferably in an international company or organization. They will then defend their thesis in the final Master's colloquium. For organizational reasons, it may be necessary to adapt the range of individual courses.
Courses and examinations are held exclusively in English.
