Industrial engineers bridge the gap between technology and business administration. They are fluent in both the technical and business languages, understand the respective mindsets, and are skilled at integrating solutions and opportunities from both fields into a cohesive whole.
In the Master's in Business Administration and Engineering (WINM) program, you will deepen your methodological and analytical skills. Our successful graduates are known for their extensive specialist knowledge and interdisciplinary perspective.
Consistently, top rankings in Germany's leading university rankings, such as the CHE ranking and the annual university ranking by WirtschaftsWoche magazine, attest to the popularity of our degree program and the success of our graduates.
Most courses are conducted in the form of lectures and seminars. This is complemented by one or two intermediate colloquia (depending on the chosen study option, A or B), where you will practice presenting your research results in the context of your master's thesis and engage in discussion.
And after graduating? Your career!
Graduates are highly sought after by large corporations as well as small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Thanks to their interdisciplinary education, they can quickly grow into management roles at both national and international levels. Most of our graduates find employment in business or industry shortly after completing their studies. For those interested in academia and research, pursuing a doctorate is also an option.
Industrial engineers typically work in the following industries:
+ Automotive
+ Mechanical engineering
+ Electronics
+ Aviation
+ Computer science
