Prepared for engineering and for business
Industrial engineers bring together technology and business administration. They know the respective technical language and way of thinking, they are familiar with selected topics, and combine solutions and potentials of both areas into a coherent whole.
In the Master's in Business Administration and Engineering (WINM) you will deepen your methodical and analytical skills. Our successful graduates are characterized by their broad specialist knowledge and interdisciplinary perspective.
Time and again, top ratings in Germany's leading university rankings , such as the CHE ranking or the annual university ranking by the WirtschaftsWoche magazine, prove our degree program and graduates to be highly popular.
Most courses take place in the form of lectures and seminars. This is supplemented by one or two intermediate colloquia (depending on the chosen study variant A or B), in which you will train to present your own research results in the context of your master's thesis in an effective way and to put them up for discussion.
And after graduating? Your career!
Graduates are readily employed by large corporations as well as small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and, thanks to their interdisciplinary studies, are able to grow quickly into management roles, both at national and international level. Our graduates usually find employment in business or industry within a very short time. If you prefer to work in academia and research, the option of a doctorate is open to you.
Industrial engineers are typically employed by the following branches of industry:
