Laboratories

Cross-faculty research area for robotics and artificial intelligence

The cross-faculty research area for robotics and artificial intelligence is used for research and development of robot-based solutions for production and distribution logistics and is equipped with state-of-the-art robots from KUKA and Universal Robots.

Cross-faculty industrial robotics laboratory for teaching purposes

The cross-faculty laboratory consists of four identical "Ready2_educate" training cells from the company KUKA. These cells are used to learn how to program state-of-the-art industrial robots.

XR-Lab: Laboratory for Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Realty (AR) and Mixed Reality (MR)

The XR Lab of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences focuses on the research and development of Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR) and Mixed Reality (MR) solution approaches in the industrial field.

Joint Laboratory for GNSS and Navigation of the Institute of Applied Research (IAF) and the Faculty of Information Management and Media of Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences (HKA)

Data Science Laboratory

The "Data Science" Laboratory of the Faculty of Management Science and Engineering has hardware and software for solving problems in data science, machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) issues. It supports data acquisition as well as data processing and visualization.
