The research strength of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics is reflected in the large number of laboratories and scientific facilities. Our large network with industry and scientific institutions enable us to work on large and research-intensive externally funded projects.

In the area of teaching, we also offer valuable input from industry, business and companies through external teaching staff from the areas of management, development and HR management.

For companies, we offer numerous opportunities for cooperation, e.g. in our Steinbeis Transfer Centers. Lecturing at our university is also possible. Speak to us!

Advanced course mathematics

In the advanced course "Fundamentals of Mathematics" we provide first-year students with a uniform basis to participate in advanced courses. The course is based on the 1st semester mathematics curriculum. It is suitable for reviewing the fundamentals of mathematics.

The new Linder Technology Campus

Part of our laboratories are located on the new Linder Technology Campus (LTC) in the heart of the city of Karlsruhe. Our new master's program "Robotics and Artificial Intelligence in Production" will even take place entirely there. A modern infrastructure and state-of-the-art robotics laboratories await you there.

In keeping with the motto of the corporate campus "Space for creative Engineers", you will also have the opportunity to get in touch with the companies and startups located there. Look forward to a state-of-the-art study and work environment!
