Doctorate and research
The internationally recognized Master's degree of course opens the way to a doctorate at universities in Germany and abroad. However, the Faculty of Computer Science and Business Information Systems is also the university's strongest research department. The association of professors at major state universities, the close cooperation with foreign universities and a joint graduate college with the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) open up multiple paths for the internal qualification of doctoral candidates.
