Teaching & Research

- as individual
Teaching and research are closely interwoven at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Systems. With our innovative teaching concepts, we directly involve students in highly topical research projects through study projects and final theses. Results from research are directly transferred to teaching, both areas benefit from each other in this way and are building blocks for the education of excellent graduates.
Applied research is, besides teaching, the central task of the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Systems. At our faculty there are various opportunities to do research:

What is a tutorial?
A tutorial is a lecture-accompanying event. Here, students together with a tutor - usually students themselves in a higher semester - repeat the heard and read knowledge of a course and deepen it. In most cases, tutorials are voluntary. Often they also serve to work on homework together, while the tutor helps those present and thus facilitates the start of studies.
