iXperience Lab

iXperience Lab – Intelligent Interaction & Immersive eXperience Lab

The iXperience Lab deals with intelligent and immersive systems in order to further develop the experience in human-computer interaction as well as in human-computer-human interaction. The task of the lab is to give students the opportunity to gain experience with current technologies and to be able to realize their own projects.

The lab is also used in research and development. Not only technically demanding challenges are tackled, e.g. gesture and speech recognition or augmented & virtual reality, new approaches are pursued, e.g. Calm Computing and Deep Learning, but also knowledge from the fields of psychology, sociology, cognition and design is applied. In cooperation with industry and museums, application-related projects are realized, demonstrated and evaluated.

The students have the opportunity to use and further work on hardware and software developed in research projects. This includes:
