Mechanical Engineering
Study content
The standard period of study for the Master's in Mechanical Engineering is three semesters. Each semester 30 ECTS credit points are awarded.
When you begin your studies, you will choose one of the following two specializations:
- Digitalization in Product Design (DPE)
- Energy Efficiency in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Environmental Technology
The final Master's thesis in the third semester can be written either at the university or in cooperation with a company - even abroad.
Guide to your studies
In the following you will find a list of all modules to be taken in the subsequent semesters. A module is composed of several courses. For details about the curriculum, courses, exams, literature, and ECTS credits conferred you will need to consult the module handbook on the German-language pages.
