Structure of the program
The standard period of study for the Master’s program in Business Information Systems is three semesters.
In the first two semesters,
demanding courses deepen the fundamentals. In addition, topics in modern business informatics are covered, which you can supplement with qualifications in leadership and social skills.
In the third semester,
you will write your Master's thesis. For this purpose, workplaces and topics are available to you at the university, or you can take the opportunity to write your thesis in cooperation with an industrial partner or an external research institution.

Study content
The Master's program in Business Information Systems enables you to independently carry out or lead the selection, planning and development of IT systems for strategic and operational business management. To this end, you will acquire the necessary technical and interdisciplinary skills in the areas of designing corporate processes, setting up, using and integrating IT systems and systems for decision support in companies.

The courses are taught in German as language of instruction. At the university's own Foreign Language Institute all students can deepen their own language skills in lessons with native speakers.
