In the Master's degree programs in Business Information Systems and Computer Science, you can obtain, in addition to the degree from Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences, a further degree from the following partner universities by means of the international double degree options:
Study aim
The statement "Data is the new oil, but information is the new gold" is the basis for the new international double degrees. Master's students acquire the ability to structure and analyze data in a global context and to extract information that generates added value for companies. Students experience the agility of an international corporate and social network and use this knowledge and skills to add value to the company and society. The double degrees combine technical and practical experience and thus play a key role in shaping the increasing globalization and internationalization of society.

Course of study in 4- 5 semesters
After being admitted to the double degree program you will be, at the same time, a student at the partner university and at HKA in the Faculty of Computer Science & Information Systems.
First you will study two or three semesters at your home university and then one semester at the partner university. The last semester includes a Master's thesis, which can be completed in a company in your home country, in the country of the partner university, or worldwide, and is jointly supervised by both universities.
Double degree in Taiwan:
„Data Science and Artificial Intelligence in Business Information Systems“
The Master's degree program in Business Information Systems and the Master's degree program in Computer Science can be completed as double degree option "Data Science in Business Information Systems" with the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (Taiwan Tech/NTUST) in Taipei, Taiwan. The focus is on the current subject areas of Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Big Data.

The international double degree offers you the opportunity to obtain two degrees in cooperation with the Taiwanese partner university:
Area of specialization in Taipei and Karlsruhe:
At the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (Taiwan Tech/NTUST) in Taipei, students specialize in the application of artificial intelligence in information systems as well as data mining. At the HKA, specializations such as data science, artificial intelligence, big data, machine learning, IT security, and robot programming are offered.
Funding:
Financial support for stays abroad by the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) from winter 2023 to summer 2026.
Costs:
There are no tuition fees (with the exception of administrative fees).

„Data Science and Artificial Intelligence“ (DaSAI)
The Master's degree program in Business Information Systems and the Master's degree program in Computer Science can be completed as double degree option "Data Science and Artificial Intelligence" (DaSAI) with the Physique Strasbourg of Université de Strasbourg (TPS) in France. The focus is on the current subject areas of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.

Area of specialization in Strasbourg and Karlsruhe:
At the TPS, students specialize in the application of artificial intelligence in information systems as well as data mining. At HKA, specializations such as Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, Information Theory and Coding or projects in the field of Machine Learning are offered.
Funding:
An application for funding can be submitted under the classic Erasmus scholarship programs.
