Electromobility and Autonomous Systems

Profile

Studying Electromobility & Autonomous Systems

Sustainability affects each of us in every aspect of our lives. This is why a change towards climate- and environment-friendly, resource-saving and efficient mobility is under way worldwide.

In the Electromobility and Autonomous Systems specialization, we deal with solutions for this profound revolution. This includes the topics of drive technology and storage technologies for electric vehicles, but also artificial intelligence, image processing and sensor technology to advance autonomous driving.

You are shaping the mobility of tomorrow
Electromobility and Autonomous systems are important building blocks of this. In this degree program, you will learn how modern mobility works and how electromobile systems of the future will be equipped with artificial intelligence. You will learn to help shape this future - in theory and application!

A student talks about his experiences

Maximilian Ketschik: I'm excited about electrical engineering itself, but especially about its various applications in mobility. Different areas of engineering, ranging from sensor systems to electrical machines, power electronics and microelectronics to battery systems, are combined to make cars. To me, that’s fascinating. E-mobility and autonomous systems are an important part of the current, so-called "megatrends". These technologies will definitely be with us for a long time.
