E+ Personnel: Scholarship benefits

The financial support for Erasmus stays is based on the different costs of living in the destination countries

The program offers the following services as unit costs:

  • Subsidy towards subsistence costs (staggered according to destination country)
  • Subsidy for travel costs

Subsidy for accommodation costs

Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Norway, Sweden 180 euros  
Belgium, Germany, France, Greece, Italy, Malta, Netherlands, Austria, Portugal, Spain, Cyprus 160 euros  
Bulgaria, Estonia, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, Northern Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Turkey, Hungary 140 euros  


A maximum of 10 days can be funded.

Allowance for travel expenses

Distances are calculated with the help of the EU Distance Calculator.
The one-way distance is the basis for calculating the amount of EU financial assistance for the round trip.

The place of departure does not have to be the same as the location of the sending institution. For this case, the travel receipts must be kept as proof of the actual place of arrival and departure. 

Special support for participants with disabilities

Personnel with disabilities may apply for additional funding. Please note that this requires an application deadline of more than two months to be met.

Participants are eligible to apply, whose degree of disability (GdB) is at least 50.

Please note that there is no legal entitlement to funding or a specific grant amount.
