Profile Content

Study content

The four-semester Master's program in Architecture is formed by a framework of the thematic areas of City+Space, Architecture+Construction, and Concept+Context, within which individual interests can and should be deepened.

At the center of each semester is an integral project (IP), supplemented by impromptu assignments and theory seminars. Essential to the program is the wide range of (compulsory) electives, workshops, excursions, projects in cooperation with external institutions, as well as public presentations and exhibitions of student work. These can be chosen as you desire. In this way, you can set further personal focal points - e.g. urban planning, building technology, energy efficiency and sustainability, engineering in existing contexts, or artistic design. More detailed information about our program can be found in the study plan and module descriptions.

Study plans and module handbook

The overall structure of the Master’s program in Architecture with all modules and courses, as well as the corresponding credit points, can be found in the study plans. The module and subject description is a summary of all detailed information about the content and objective of a course or module. Both documents are available on the German-language pages.
