Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences will celebrate the week of 12–16 May 2025 as “Diversity Week”. As a member of the INGENIUM European University, we are organizing a series of events as part of the “INGENIUM Diversity Week”, which will take place simultaneously at all ten partner institutions of the European university network. The program includes a wide range of events focusing on the topics of diversity and inclusion.

12 May 2025: Living Diversity – Kick-off event for INGENIUM Diversity Week

The INGENIUM Diversity Week will officially kick off on campus at HKA with the event “Living Diversity.” Guest speakers will offer brief insights into the topic of diversity and inclusion from a variety of perspectives. Following these contributions, comedian Kai Bosch will take the stage with his performance "Prejudices: Totally retarded!", in which he shares his very personal and humorous take on inclusion in everyday life.

15 May 2025: HKA Song Contest

Students sing live in front of an audience in a language that is not their mother tongue and that they have learnt in a course or during a stay abroad. They can choose whether they prefer to perform an existing song or one of their own. It is also up to them whether they prefer to sing to a karaoke track or bring their own instrument. The main prize: €250. Application deadline: 1 May 2025.
