Procurement Management
The Procurement Management (BM) of Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences is the central contact regarding all topics of procurement.
In compliance with numerous regulations of the public procurement law, which among other things prescribe to use budgetary and third-party funds economically, to award public contracts only to competent, efficient and reliable suppliers at reasonable prices, and to conduct the award procedures transparently and in a non-discriminatory competition, the procurement management finds a good and permissible way for all parties involved.
The scope of procurement management includes the following areas:
- EU-wide tenders for supplies and services in accordance with the applicable procurement law
- National tenders of supplies and services according to the valid procurement law
- Awarding of purchase and framework contracts
- Purchasing orders and procurements
- Appointment of procurement officers
- Training and support of procurement officers
- Sourcing point for SRM issue
- Specification and maintenance of procurement guidelines
- Countrywide bidding and custom auctions for recycling of old equipment or furniture
