Erasmus+ Internship

Your internship in Europe with Erasmus+

Do you want to acquire key qualifications such as communication and teamwork skills, openness or knowledge of foreign cultures and markets, while at the same time improving your language skills and gaining professional experience? All of this is possible with the Erasmus Internship Program!

The Erasmus+ program is aimed at undergraduate and graduate students who are completing an internship in another European country.

Prerequisites
  • You are enrolled as a regular student to take a degree at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences
  • The internship has a duration between two and twelve months
  • The internship is full-time (30 to 40 hours per week)
  • Sufficient funding quota (360 days per study cycle)
Advantages
  • EU internship contract between university, company, and student
  • Academic recognition of the internship (for compulsory or voluntary internships)
  • Support during the internship by a supervisor each at the home university and at the company
  • Funding of additional costs incurred abroad starting at 640 EUR/month
  • Special grants for students with disabilities, chronic illnesses and students with child(ren)
  • Special grants for first-time academics and working students
  • if applicable 50 EUR green travel support
  • if applicable 130 EUR for language courses and learning materials
  • Support during preparation (cultural, linguistic, organizational)
