Noble Banadda International Summer School on Sustainability

Fancy a vacation program with a difference? At the International Summer School on Sustainability, students from different countries and different fields of study discuss solutions for a more sustainable world. A collaboration between the three universities OST - Ostschweizer Fachhochschule, HKA University of Applied Sciences Karlsruhe and Transilvania University of Braşov in Romania.
The 4th Summer School on Sustainability i3s will focus on climate action and sustainability. Through collaboration with international experts and the use of interactive learning methods, participants will acquire new knowledge and skills related to technical solutions to reduce our environmental footprint.
The 4th edition of the Summer School will be named Noble Banadda International Sustainability Summer School in recognition of an extraordinary man who was instrumental in the success of the SophiA project proposal - the EU-funded initiative that gave birth to i3s.
With the International Summer School for Sustainability 2025, the HKA Karlsruhe and the OST - Ostschweizer Fachhochschule invite students from different disciplines and countries to exchange ideas and learn from each other.
The host in 2025 is the OST - Ostschweizer Fachhochschule in Rapperswil-Jona. The campus is located directly on Lake Zurich in the beautiful small town of Rapperswil with its historic castle and surroundings that are perfect for excursions into nature.

Excursions are also planned. There will also be enough time for joint activities and exchanges.
Costs:
CHF 100 for the week including registration fee, seminars, excursions, accommodation and meals. The trip to Rapperswil must be organized and paid for by the participants themselves.
