The University Council

In the year 2000, the University Council was established as a third executive body of the university, alongside the Senior Management and the Senate. The Landeshochschulgesetz (State Law on Higher Education, LHG) specifies that at least the majority of Council members and the Chairperson must come from outside the university. Since the Council was established, Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences has decided select external members only. Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences thus profits from a far-reaching external impetus as an opportunity for further development.

Supervision of the Senior Management
Examining the Senior Management's annual report
