Overview

Center for Teaching Innovation

The Center for Teaching Innovation is a department of the Department of Academic Affairs and is assigned to the Prorectorate for Studies, Teaching and International Affairs.
The department contributes to the strategic development of teaching and learning at the HKA. To this end, the interdisciplinary team analyzes current needs, developments and trends in the field of university teaching. On this basis, action strategies and concepts for teaching innovations are developed together with teachers, students and other stakeholders, and their implementation and transfer to new contexts is supported. The following exemplary fields of innovation are currently of particular importance:

The Center for Teaching Innovation emerged from the successful Quality Pact for Teaching Project SKATING of the HKA (FKZ 01PL16014, funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research).
