Application procedure

The application period ends on Tuesday, 15.7.2026.
The university will then carry out the first round of admissions. As soon as this has taken place, you will find a status change in the applicant portal HISinOne. In order to accept the study place, you must accept the admission offer within the specified deadlines and submit all required documents.

If you did not receive a place in the first admission round, please still keep an eye on the applicant portal, because if not all places have been allocated, a succession procedure and, if necessary, a subsequent lottery procedure will take place. This has been the case in recent years.

Theprerequisite for an OSKAR study place is that you have a university entrance qualification (HZB) and have not yet completed a university degree.
For foreign applicants, proof of German language proficiency (Section 60 (3) LHG) is required: TDN4 or better or DSH2 or better.

The OSKAR orientation semester starts with the official start of the semester (September 1, 2026). The OSKAR introductoryevents are expected to take place from September 17 - 25, 2026.
Attendance is important for successful participation in the orientation semester. The individual timetable is drawn up so that direct participation in the courses of the participating degree programs is possible right from the start.
