MTU Coil and Virtual Exchange Centre
MTU recognises the potential for COIL to create engaging environments where students from different culture/countries work collaboratively together and is working towards expanding COIL as an activity within the University. Two cohorts of MTU staff have completed training in Coil and Virtual Exchange and are open to consider potential COIL collaborations with staff in other INGENIUM HEIs.

On March 19, 2025 we visited XAMK in Finland
The South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences is a well-known university in Finland with over 12,000 students on four campuses in Kotka, Kouvola, Mikkeli and Savonlinna.
With more than 300 partner universities around the world, South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences sends and receives around 300 students each year through student exchange and double degree programmes.
In addition to exchange studies, Xamk offers over 40 Bachelor’s degree programmes, over 30 Master’s degree programmes, Open UAS courses, global talent acquisition programmes and Summer School courses.
