Robotics and Artificial Intelligence in Production
Application-oriented studies
Research and Development Projects
In the course of your Master's studies, you will carry out two research and development projects. For this, you will work in interdisciplinary teams of about two to six students on different topics, which you can choose from a wide range of topics or contribute your own suggestions.
Master’s thesis
You will write your Master's Thesis within a period of six months. The topic of your thesis may very well deal with a real-life issue, which you will work on academically and methodically on your own. Master's theses are mainly written in industry, a research institution (in Germany or abroad) or in a research project at the university. Also, you could write your Master’s thesis at a company or research institution abroad. You will consider your individual approach with the Director of your study program.

Application-oriented study in the lab
The following laboratories, among others, are available under the new study program
- Robotics lab featuring four robot cells with KUKA Ready2 Educate
- Robogistics lab with mobile and stationary robot systems
- Cyber-Physics Lab
- Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality Lab
- Pool rooms with computers and software
Opportunities abroad
It is also possible to complete a semester abroad during the Master's program, e.g. at one of our numerous partner universities.
In this case, recognition of the examinations taken abroad must be agreed upon in advance by the Program Director within the framework of a Learning Agreement.
