Going abroad during the Master's program?
Unusual, but not impossible.
As a rule, most students already complete a semester of study at a foreign university in the course of their Bachelor's program. If you are toying with this idea for your Master's studies you should consider the following:
As for study option A, it will be difficult to integrate a semester abroad without extending the study time due to the shortness of the program. You are welcome to contact the Director of the study program to discuss possibilities.
In the case of study option B with the Master's thesis in full-time, a semester abroad could take place, for example, in the second semester. In the case of the Master's thesis in parallel to the lectures, a semester abroad could also be integrated in the third semester, depending on the topic. Recognition of the examinations taken abroad must be agreed upon in advance by the Program Director within the framework of a learning agreement.
Finally, you could write your Master's thesis full-time in study option B at a company or research institution abroad.
