International Management
Various paths in your professional future and career are open to you
The comprehensive business education with an international orientation is in great demand on the job market among companies that operate internationally and are pushing their internationalization. Both work life and professional development opportunities are characterized in equal measure by specialized fields of activity in functional areas such as purchasing, sales, controlling, marketing, human resources, logistics, finance and accounting, export/foreign trade and by cross-disciplinary fields of activity such as project management, corporate management, consulting, or organization.
Especially in and around Karlsruhe there are many promising companies from the high-tech industry and the service sector, where our International Management graduates are very welcome. Many students already get to know their future employer during their studies. Valuable contacts are made during the time as working students, during the internship semester, or during a cooperative final thesis. Another point in favor of our graduates is their particularly high level of problem-solving skills.

A graduate talks about her experiences
Isabel Johne is a graduate of the International Management bachelor's program and is currently studying for a master's degree. She is certain: It was the right choice of study for her.
"My absolute favorite subjects in the International Management Bachelor’s program were Market Research, and Databases. These two lectures were really fun.
If you're interested in business and are good at math, International Management is the right program for you. Studying mathematics is different from school subject. I found it difficult in the first semester, it was quite a change compared to high school. But it can definitely be done! Sure, you have to put your nose to the grindstone, but the mathematical basics helped me a lot with my further studies."
