Civil Engineering Tri-national
Civil engineering Tri-national - a bridge in Europe
Building is not only done on one's own doorstep - other countries also have an increased demand for well-trained civil engineers. Engineering companies have recognized this for quite some time and are active throughout Europe. And although building physics in other countries follows the same rules as in Germany, many regulations, procedures and processes don’t - and these also need to be mastered. That's why Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences, the Institut Universitaire de Technologie Robert Schuman (IUT, Strasbourg, France) and the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNM, Muttenz, Switzerland) have joined forces to create a tri-national Bachelor's degree program in Civil Engineering to prepare you optimally for an international career as a civil engineer.
One study program - success times three
The underlying idea is to offer students the opportunity to obtain not just one, but three bachelor's degrees at the same time - the French Licence Professionelle from IUT, the Bachelor of Science from FHNW, and the Bachelor of Engineering from Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences. After successfully completing your studies you will be qualified to work as a civil engineer in three countries.
