During the blended intensive program at the Universidad de Oviedo (Spain), participants focused on exploring how student, staff, and societal engagement could benefit the INGENIUM European University and how the university could, in turn, support them. Networking and knowledge exchange proved highly beneficial for all participants, aligning perfectly with the European University's mission: connect, share, learn.
The host, Universidad de Oviedo, organized an excellent program, allowing participants to immerse themselves in Asturias’s culture, including sidra and espicha, and to explore all three university locations: Mieres, a city in transition; Oviedo, the capital of Asturias; and Gijón, the region’s largest city by the sea.
We are now looking forward to implementing the fantastic ideas generated throughout the week and working towards an INGENIUM European University where all groups feel represented.
