"10 Days of INGENIUM" - It's all about ideas

Last Monday, the third edition of the “10 Days of INGENIUM” began at the Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iași.

For the students, the Junior Summer School is all about finding ideas. They are working intensively in international teams on the topic of product development: “Print your mind in 3D - Empower your creativity”. They are supported by Prof. Dr. Florian Finsterwalder from the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics, who accompanies the Junior Summer School as a mentor.

The Staff Academy, which is dedicated to sharing innovative teaching methods, is all about sharing ideas. Kellie Bruchmueller from the Institute of Foreign Languages gave the participants an inspiring introduction to her “Approach to Sustainability and Developing 21st Century Skills: a Business English Entrepreneurial Simulation Course”.

The big idea behind all of this is the (further) development of an INGENIUM European Campus. To this end, the INGENIUM European Campus Academic Committee (IEC-AC) met for the first time today, Wednesday. It is the highest academic body of INGENIUM University and is concerned with the creation of a so-called Open Degree Framework, which deals with the possibilities of making existing degree programmes more flexible with extended elective and mobility options. The focus is also on developing guidelines for joint degree programs. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Franz Quint represent HKA on this committee.

At the end of the week, the baton will be passed on to the Université de Rouen, where the second half of the “10 Days of INGENIUM” will take place from May 27-31. We are excited to see what ideas will emerge there.
