20 weeks of hands-on education

In the fifth semester, you will complete a practical study semester for 20 weeks, which you will spend in a company of your choice. There you will be involved in projects in the areas of, e.g., development, production, project management, or sales. This gives you an early opportunity to apply the knowledge you have acquired at work, and, at the same time, to get to know the operational processes in a company. During this time, you will be guided by a professor from the university.

All students are responsible for finding a suitable internship company and project. For this, you can access our wide network of industry contacts. We support you in finding a suitable place, as well as with the internship and follow-up.

Would you prefer to complete your internship semester abroad?

In addition, with the Bachelor International option, we offer you the opportunity to extend the study period to eight semesters in order to give you sufficient occasion for stays abroad.

A total of two "international" semesters are planned: One study semester or internship semester abroad and another semester with coursework at a foreign university or via "virtual/blended mobility", i.e. through (partially) digitized courses with an international character.
