Current opportunities for students

  • INGENIUM@HKA: Seed-Fund for Student Projects

    INGENIUM@HKA offers you financial support (up to €5,000) to implement innovative projects in areas such as sustainability, entrepreneurship, healthy campuse, diversity or inclusion with a clear reference to INGENIUM.

    Applications can be submitted at any time but projects need to be completetd by November 2026. 

  • Join the INGENIUM SDGs Hackathon!

    From 12–13 November, you’ll have the chance to take part in an exciting two-day online hackathon, teaming up with students from across Europe and beyond to tackle real sustainability challenges.

    Work in international teams to develop solutions for campus-related issues – with the opportunity to have your ideas implemented at INGENIUM universities!

    During the hackathon, you’ll receive mentoring, inspiring mini-talks, and feedback from an international jury of sustainability experts. Show that your solution is creative, feasible, and aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)!

INGENIUM Staff Academy 2026

Share, transfer and showcase innovative pedagogical methodologies or develop them in cooperation with INGENIUM partners. The first INGENIUM Staff Academy of 2026 will be held at the University of Skövde, Sweden, from 2-6 February 2026. The second Staff Academy workshop of 2026 will be held at the Medical University of Sofia, Bulgaria, from 1-5 June. Applications for both events are open now. Next Call for Joint Education Labs

The INGENIUM Education Lab invites faculty, education, and RDI experts to submit proposals for Joint Education Lab Projects, with the chance to receive funding. Join forces with at least one other INGENIUM university on innovative projects like co-teaching, student co-creation, or developing new teaching methods. You can explore a variety of themes, such as: Creating or adapting micro-credentials | Sharing innovative teaching practices | Developing joint education projects | Innovating learning environments (hybrid, VR, etc.) | Enhancing lifelong learning and business partnerships.

Funding for mobility, materials, and other reasonable expenses may be available to support your project. More Details and Tips on how to find partners are available here.

Submit your proposal by October 31, 2025, and turn your idea into a reality.

INGENIUM for staff

  • Further training at the HKA and with our partners, e.g. language courses or programmes to develop intercultural skills
  • Funding for job shadowing and staff weeks
  • Funding for relevant further education and training (internationalisation, intercultural skills, digitalisation)

Job shadowing is not only suitable for newcomers, but also particularly for long-serving employees who want to develop professionally and personally within their area of work or the HKA. Applications for staff mobilities (job shadowing or staff weeks) and applications for funding for further training can be submitted until November.   • Weiterbildungen an der HKA und bei unseren Partnern z. B. Sprachkurse oder Angebote zum Ausbau interkultureller Kompetenz

Job Shadowing eignet sich nicht nur für Einsteiger*innen, sondern ganz besonders auch für langjährige Mitarbeitende, die sich fachlich und persönlich innerhalb ihres Arbeitsbereiches bzw. der HKA weiterentwickeln möchten. Anträge für Staff-Mobilities (Job-Shadowing oder Staff-Weeks) sowie Anträge für die Finanzierung von Fortbildungen können durchgehend bis Oktober eingereicht werden.
