A week full of perspectives, encounters and inspiration lies behind us - INGENIUM Diversity Week showed how much power there is in living diversity!
From 12 to 16 May 2025, HKA and all INGENIUM European University partners offered a varied programme on diversity, inclusion and international cooperation - on campus and online.
Highlights on campus:
- ‘Living Diversity’ - the kick-off evening with inspiring contributions and an impressive performance by comedian Kai Bosch, who used humour to raise awareness of inclusion.
- ‘Hidden Figures’ in the AStA cinema - a film evening that highlighted the role of African-American women in the history of science.
- ‘Crossing Borders‘ - our international information fair that whetted students’ appetites for new horizons.
- Lecture series on the gender aspect of cycling with Mirjam Brinkmann (ADFC) - exciting input on the transport transition and the visibility of gender issues.
- The HKA Song Contest - full of emotion, linguistic diversity and talent. An evening that inspired and connected.
There was also a lot on offer online:
International sessions on topics such as gender identity, intercultural communication, accessibility in studies and female empowerment in STEM complemented the programme at European level.
A big thank you to all participants, speakers and contributors - you made this week something special!
We are already looking forward to the next edition. Until then: live diversity - every day.
