Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences (HKA) is offering a seed fund for students and university groups as part of the European University Alliance INGENIUM. Innovative projects on the topics of sustainability, healthy campus, diversity & inclusion, entrepreneurship with a clear connection to INGENIUM will be funded.
Who can apply?
- Individual students or small groups
- University groups or student councils of HKA
- Applications in cooperation with students or groups from INGENIUM partner universities are welcome, but not a prerequisite
Funding conditions
- Maximum funding amount per project: €5,000
- Funding is provided on an ongoing basis as long as funds are available and after qualitative assessment
- Projects must be implemented by November 2026
Eligible topics
- Sustainability (e.g. environmental projects, resource conservation)
- Healthy Campus (e.g. health promotion, well-being, sport)
- Diversity & inclusion (e.g. projects on equal opportunities, accessibility, education)
- Entrepreneurship (e.g. workshops, lectures)
- Visibility of INGENIUM (e.g. communication and networking projects)
Application process

- Decisions are made after receipt of the complete documents and review by a jury
- The projects will be evaluated according to relevance, feasibility, INGENIUM reference and degree of innovation or impact
