CyProAssist

Industry 4.0 is characterized by high dynamics and flexibility with individualized production. This places high demands on the socio-technical system "production" and the users involved in particular, and creates many uncertainties and situation-dependent information needs. The overall goal of the CyProAssist project is therefore the creation of a manufacturing assistance system FRIENDLYIMPROVER and its application under real production conditions. This system places humans as creative problem solvers at the center of manufacturing and supports them in such a way that they can optimally contribute their cognitive abilities to the production process. The goal of this subproject is the transfer and further development of already existing models with regard to a human-machine interaction and (context) adaptation from different application areas into the production environment and the development of specific semantic models. Industrial and technology companies are developing new solutions for semantic Industry 4.0 here with Fraunhofer and the Institute for Ubiquitous Mobility Systems.
