eTruckCharge Kickoff Meeting in Karlsruhe

The kick-off meeting for our eTruckCharge project, funded by Interreg, took place on September 23, 2026, in Karlsruhe and marked a successful start to the project, providing an opportunity to learn about each other’s expertise, align expectations, plan our collaboration, and focus on our shared vision.

The kick-off meeting for our Interreg-funded eTruckCharge project took place on September 23, 2026, in Karlsruhe.

As host and project leader, Professor Zoltán Nochta began by providing an overview of the overall project. Subsequently, all participating project partners presented their specific contributions, which were then discussed in a plenary session.

After lunch, a mini-game resulted in a visualization of our shared vision for a cross-border and cross-company “federated charging park” for electric trucks in the Upper Rhine region (see image).

This was followed by two workshops on requirements analysis and integration. The meeting concluded with a joint Zoom call involving all associated partners to align mutual expectations and coordinate collaboration.

Overall, the kick-off meeting marked a successful start to the project, providing an opportunity to familiarize ourselves with each other’s expertise, align expectations, plan collaboration, and focus on our shared vision.
