This year’s call is the first Annual Education Call launched by INGENIUM and is intended to become a recurring annual opportunity. It provides a dedicated framework for bringing forward new ideas, finding suitable partners and developing joint teaching opportunities for students and university staff. The call is not only aimed at teaching staff who are already working with an INGENIUM partner university. New ideas and initial contacts with potential collaboration partners are equally welcome.
From individual courses to joint degree programs
The call covers nine different formats from individual teaching collaborations to longer-term joint programmes:
- Joint programmes at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels
- Pathways
- Doctoral Collaborations
- Blended Intensive Programs (BIPs)
- Micro-credentials and micro-modules
- Collaborative Teaching and Learning, e.g., joint courses, co-teaching, COIL, or virtual exchange
- Teaching Innovations
- Staff Academy Trainings
- Contributions to the INGENIUM Course Catalog
The scale of a collaboration can vary. It could start with a joint teaching session or guest lecture, for example, or with opening an existing HKA course to students from a partner university.
No contact at an INGENIUM partner university yet?
That’s not a problem. The General Call allows teaching staff to submit an Expression of Interest without having identified a specific partner university yet. INGENIUM will then bring together colleagues from the ten partner universities through a networking and matchmaking phase. From mid-October to the end of November, participants can connect with colleagues, explore shared academic interests and develop ideas for joint proposals. The call is therefore also open to teaching staff who have not yet been involved in an INGENIUM collaboration.
One Call, Many Opportunities for Collaboration
1. Fast Track: For collaborations that are already taking shape
Already have a concrete idea and a partner? The Fast Track is aimed at collaborations that are sufficiently developed to be implemented in the second semester of 2026/2027.
- Application deadline: October 16, 2026 (CEST)
- The selected activities will take place between February and June 2027.
2. General Call: for new ideas and collaborations
Have an idea but no partner yet, or would you like to develop a new collaboration? Then the General Call is the right starting point. The first step is to submit an Expression of Interest. During the subsequent networking and matchmaking phase, suitable partners can be identified and the idea developed further together.
- Expression of Interest: by November 13, 2026 (CEST)
- Full Application: by December 18, 2026 (CEST)
The selected projects will be prepared for implementation during the 2027–2028 academic year.
