INGENIUM is the first alliance within the European Universities Initiative to successfully complete the European University Association’s (EUA) institutional evaluation as part of the Institutional Evaluation Programme (IEP). The evaluation confirms the alliance’s progress toward becoming the fully integrated European university envisioned by its ten founding partners.
The completion of the evaluation confirms the alliance’s positive progress toward becoming the fully integrated European university that its ten founding partners envisioned from the very beginning. The evaluation report particularly commends the progress made in the areas of international mobility, joint degree programs, quality assurance, and increasing collaboration among the partner universities.
At the same time, the evaluation identifies key areas for development in the coming years. These include further strengthening joint structures, consolidating the diverse range of educational offerings into a visible joint portfolio, and further developing a shared culture of quality. The evaluators’ recommendations provide INGENIUM with important impetus to further strengthen long-term collaboration among the ten partner universities and to strengthen the alliance’s shared European perspective.
As the first alliance to undergo this process, INGENIUM may now display the “Evaluated by EUA-IEP” seal in its communications materials. The seal confirms that the alliance has successfully undergone an independent external review by the European University Association and that its institutional structures, objectives, and development processes have been assessed as part of an internationally recognized evaluation process.
The full evaluation report will be available in the database of the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (DEQAR).
