About us

The Institute for Energy Efficient Mobility (IEEM) was founded in 2012 by the three professors Prof. Dr.-Ing. Maurice Kettner, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Reiner Kriesten and Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Peter Neugebauer. Since 2018 and 2021 Prof. Dr.-Ing. Philipp Nenninger and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dirk Feßler of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology complement the management team, as well as Prof. Dr.-Ing. Peter Offermann since 2022. In cooperation with partners from industry and research the research focus is on innovative and networked systems or functions for resource-saving and demand-oriented mobility. The focus is on the practical feasibility of the projects in reality.
